SOFIA LIFE SUMMIT: Longevity for Everyone

Bulgarian Longevity Association organizes for the first time in Bulgaria an International Conference Sofia Life Summit on the topic "Longevity for Everyone". The event is aimed at all Longevity enthusiasts and will be held at the Grand Hotel Millennium, Sofia, from November 6-8, 2026.
In a country where living to 100 is not a miracle but a tradition, Sofia is set to become the European capital of longevity science. Sofia Life Summit is an event the continent has never seen before: a major international medical conference, held in parallel with a large-scale consumer fest, bringing cutting-edge longevity medicine out of the laboratory and into everyday life.
Why Bulgaria? Why now?
Bulgaria is one of the most intriguing natural laboratories for longevity research in the world. The number of centenarians here — disproportionately high for the size of the country — has long intrigued scientists studying the interplay between nutrition, genetics, community, and environment in extreme aging. The Sofia Life Summit is turning this living legacy into a scientific platform.
The Sofia Life Summit Longevity Festival will welcome over 1,000 citizens to an exhibition showcasing the latest advances in longevity science, as well as a series of specially adapted presentations presented by the same world-renowned experts participating in the medical conference. The message is consciously democratic: the science of longer, healthier lives should not remain behind hospital doors.
Topics will include practical strategies for nutrition, sleep, metabolic health, brain protection, hormonal well-being, and nutritional supplementation—translated from clinical language into expert guidance that anyone can understand and apply.

Europe is aging faster than any other continent. Healthcare systems are under pressure. And the current generation is actively seeking not just a longer, but a healthier and more fulfilling life. Sofia Life Summit places Bulgaria — and Central and Eastern Europe — at the center of one of the defining conversations of our time. The event is organized under the auspices of the Bulgarian Medical Association with the support of the Bulgarian Association for the Biology of Aging, the Swiss Embassy in Bulgaria, and the Geneva College of Longevity Sciences.
