Bulgarian Longevity Association respects your right to protection of personal data and is committed to processing it lawfully, fairly and transparently in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable Bulgarian legislation.
This policy describes what personal data we collect, for what purposes we use it and what your rights are.
2. What data do we collect?
When using the registration forms on the site, we may collect the following data:

  • First and last name

  • Title

  • Place of residence

  • WIN

  • Specialty

  • Workplace

  • Phone number

  • Email address

  • Invoice details when provided

  • Additional information voluntarily entered by the participant

3. Purposes of processing
Personal data is used only for:

  • Registration for events and conferences

  • Event participation administration

  • Sending confirmations and information regarding registration

  • Issuance of invoices and accounting documents

  • Issuance of participation certificates

  • Fulfillment of legal obligations

4. Legal basis
The processing of personal data is carried out on the basis of:

  • Art. 6, par. 1, b. GDPR – taking action at the request of the data subject and performing contractual relations;

  • Art. 6, par. 1, b. "c" of the GDPR - fulfillment of legal obligations;

  • Art. 6, par. 1, b. "a" of the GDPR - when explicit consent is required.

5. Shelf life
Personal data is stored for the period necessary for the organization and conduct of the relevant event, as well as for the periods provided for in the applicable legislation.
6. Provision of data to third parties
Personal data is not sold or provided to third parties, except when necessary for the organization of the event or when there is a legal obligation.
7. Photos and videos
During the events, photos and videos may be taken for informational, archival and communication purposes.
8. Your rights
You have the right:

  • Access to your personal data;

  • To correct inaccurate data;

  • To be deleted in cases provided for by law;

  • To restrict processing;

  • To object to processing;

  • Filing a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commission.
